About Robert and Nancy
The Evans' were fortunate to meet in the 80’s while attending spiritual classes through The Growing Place in Bridger, MT. Since then, beyond their amazingly fun and adventurous relationship, they have been dedicated seekers of the highest personal and spiritual growth. They are ever-thankful, having been graced with being able to share this sacred path with one another.

Building upon his long history of involvement in community-development causes, Robert has supported, founded, and managed several nonprofit and for-profit entities, as well as worked with city, county, and public education institutions in advisory roles. In each position he has emphasized that our community institutions are obligated to collaborate with one another for the highest, most inclusive and practical, public good. Robert and his businesses have received a number of public and private awards and recognitions for his community leadership and innovative public-private partnerships.

Nancy has been an accomplished trailblazer in the fields of wellness and healthcare throughout her career. After becoming a Registered Nurse in 1985, she later moved on to serving as a Nurse Manager and Nursing Instructor in Richmond, Virginia until she moved to Colorado in 2004. Drawn to consider other options for healing, Nancy has studied and practiced a variety of complementary therapies, including Applied Kinesiology, Brain Integration Technique, Yoga Teacher Training, Hypnotherapy, Hypnobirthing, Meditation, and Reiki Energy Work.
In 2006, Robert and Nancy established Open Pathways to Learning in Fort Collins, CO, through which Nancy used Applied Kinesiology and Brain Integration Therapies to help children and adults overcome learning difficulties. In 2012, Nancy joined together with her dear friend, Harolyn Ellison, LMT, and together they created Integrative Alignment Technique. Highly effective and easy to learn, IA Technique has become Nancy’s go-to for helping clients with a wide array of challenges and she continues to receive great feedback from students she has trained.

In 2011, Robert and Nancy expanded their work by creating a complementary healthcare wellness center that quickly grew to offer Community Acupuncture. This special style of acupuncture expanded quickly and in time became known as Thrive Community Acupuncture. This award-winning "healing oasis," as its patients and clients like to call it, continues to thrive and grow in Fort Collins, Colorado.
2023 ushered in a move for the Evans to Billings, Montana, where they are honored to continue to be of service to their team in Colorado, as well as now having opportunity to be of service to their friends in Montana and far beyond. In early Fall, 2024, the Whole You School will launch a sophisticated "learning-platform" website that will empower teachers and students from across the country and world to be able to find and serve one another, to the betterment of each participant, their communities, and the world. Stand by for exciting news coming soon!
